Monday Start?

You guys good with starting the next round on Monday? This will give us a few days to regroup and recruit anyone we want to join.
Lets also iron out anything we'd like to ammend for this round, like the 7:30 thing. Should we move it to a later time or just take it out for the summer.
Let me know if you'd like to make any other changes.

I'm definitely not starting before Monday. :) I won't get home from Colorado until Sunday night. I'm eating so horrible here. It's harding eating out 2-3 meals a day!

So, long story short... Monday is good for me. :) And I hate the no eating before 7:30 thing. I work later than that 99% of the time, so I don't think I got a point for that one the entire time! :) I say we just nix that one!

Also, I think that the 5 servings of fruits and veggies should count for more points. maybe 1.5 or 2 points? What do you think?

That could work. I was also thinking today that we should change the workout points. Like 1/2 pt for every 10 minutes of toning or 15 minutes of cardio. That way it's easier to get SOMETHING in and everyone else doesn't get ripped off when one of us has a marathon workout day.

You're in Colorado? You should swing by Logan. :)

Oh, also, what do you guys think of counting pounds AND inches lost this round? It may give a better representation of our progress.

I like the pounds and inches thing. I also like the change to points for working out. :) How do you measure for inches lost?

I don't think I'll be making the drive to Logan. Sorry. Colorado Springs isn't terribly close. I'm ready to go home, but I can't until Sunday. :( I have done some fun things, but I miss my kids and Doug. Oh well. Free trip. I shouldn't complain. :)

I have a suggestion, what if we subtract points for certain things also? For example, if I have sugar once during a day I don't get the point for no sugar but If I have some again on that same day I subtract a point for each time. Maybe we could do that for sugar and fried food and soda, I know last time I had an attitude of "I'm already not getting a point for no ______ so I might as well have it again". What do you think?

Also for fruits and veggies maybe we can count 1 point per serving but you can only count them if you get all 5, you can also get extra if you get extra fruit and veggies, what do you think?

Sandra, I totally did that with sugar! I think that's why I stopped losing. :) That's a really good idea!
So, on the fruits and veggies are you saying 1 pt per serving, meaning that you could have 5 points if you eat them all? And then extra points for extra fruits and veggies?

Right, so if you get any points for fruits and veggies you get at least five and if you don't get all five you don't get any.

On a side note, Joe was in Logan this morning. They're doing some work for USU. We were all going to come but we had a lot of other stuff going on....I'm helping Maudie with her kids while she's at youth conference, I had some T-shirt designs I needed to take to aerobics today so we can order them for our 5k next week, etc. We are hoping to get up to Bear lake sometime this summer, though.
