Hey! Nice Header! :)

I thought I was on the wrong blog for a second. :)

How are you guys holding up this week? It's been kind of an ugh week for me (snow, teething baby, etc), but I did a Denise Austin DVD workout today and feel GREAT! I love her DVDs - she lets you choose which segments you want to do in which order. You can work out for 15 minutes or over an hour. Love it! :)

I'm starting to really lag behind in the points... Oh well. I'm still giving it my all. My body requires a minimum of 7 hours of sleep, and I just feel like there aren't enough hours in the day to do all that I want to do...

My gym membership has expired, and I'm not ready to foot the bill to extend it. (We've never really paid for it. It was fully reimbursed through Doug's employer...) So, I'm trying to figure out how to get the exercise done from home. Toning is easy because I've got the weights and the exercise ball and the ab lounge. It's the cardio that I struggle with.

Maybe I should have been exercising instead of playing with Photoshop.

I'm doing okay, I think I'm getting sick so I've been struggling with fruits and veggies and haven't been working out as long each day as I had planned. I even ate sugar yesterday, I had to make a treat for YW since I was in charge last night. (I know, I had to make a treat, right) and tonight I will most likely eat dinner after 7:30 because I'm trying to talk Joe into taking me out to dinner and he won't be home until 7. Anyway, I'm still doing okay, just plugging along.

Kara, do you live in Provo? I thought Julie said you moved here, maybe I'm wrong and it was someone else...if you do live in Provo I can hook you up with a totally awesome, free workout where you can bring your kids and they can play with other kids while you work out. Let me know.

I live in San Antonio, and with all the snow you have had in Utah, I'm so glad. I don't like cold weather... High of 78 here today. :)

My struggle is mostly finding time for everything. I work full time, so Doug and I juggle responsibilities. Exercise is a great stress reliever, and I enjoy it, but it is just one more thing to add to the mix...

I know what you mean with trying to sqeeze time in to exercise. Something that I've been doing because the snow has been keeping me from going on walks is putting a LOT of exersion into cleaning the house - I mean making myself work out a sweat. I run up and down the stairs, scrub the heck out of things, move from one room to the other (at a quick pace) more than I really need to. I think it gives a pretty decent cardio workout (especially scrubbing floors.. whew!) and I'm killing 2 birds with one stone. I throw in lots of extra running up and down stairs for good measure.

I've been trying my best to stay on points, but not beating myself up for missing some this week - that's all I need right now! Ex: last night we had friends over for dinner and didn't even start eating until 7:30. And, today, I took the kids to a baby animal fair and they had samples of fresh donuts and I couldn't NOT try them, so that took sugar and fried foods out of the picture.. and then of course I had to get a coke.. bad day. But, I walked for 2 hours solid, so I feel like I made up for it. :)
I think the main point is that we're training our bodies to be healthier and to make healthier choices. :)

I know what you mean, Julie, Joe and I went out to Bajio last night and they have crushed ice so of course I had to get a dr. pepper. It was sooooo good and worth missing 2 points for--1 for soda and 1 for sugar since it wasn't diet. Today was bad, too. I think I'm getting sick. Monday will be better for sure.
